PinballX Custom Filter List number of elements limit to only 13 visible and selectable?

I created 10 XML list by date to filter Visual Pinball by years.

I wanted to add lists by brands and I see only 13 items so only 3 brands are shown and can be selected in the list.

Why the list is limited to only 13 elements?

Because it can't scroll...

Srolling pages list with the page/nudge Left and Right buttons would be cool on this menu

I tested the feature limits and PinballX crash with over 30 .ini files, i tested with 84 .ini files.

also this name "D.Goblett & Co" is not supported, the filter don't show the right tables. I think the & character is the cause.

 

If it is possible to rise up the number of elements from 30 to 100, that will be perfect for large amount of brands.

Fixing the & character would be perfect because it can be used in a brand name.

I'm not aware of a hard limit. If it is crashing i will need the log please.

Pinball X crash to desktop just when selecting List from the menu with over 30 .ini files

I know I can rename the table brand without & character so I think an issue has been fixed in the past with the table name in the database and now we can name the table with & character in the database.

I confirm the crash issue are fixed so only 40 items are shown

The new scroll list feature work perfectly !! 😁

I just have to cut the Manufacturer name like this: Manufacturer=D.Goblett* in my D.Goblett & Co.ini file and the filter work.

If it is possible in the future to add the & character support for the Manufacturer name this will be more simpler for users.

No worries, thanks for your help too. Ill look at the filter and try and see why it is not working. i seem to recall the & character means AND in the filters.

I need to look at the code but it is a wildcard expression. You may need to use [&] or ?.
