Newest version of Gamex Roms

I have the latest version of Gamex (Lifetime) and I can't get it to read some of the new Roms I put in the directed folder.  I know I have the path right, and I know they work because I ran them in Mame and they are fine.  They just don't appear.  I have tried to re-scan several times but they just won't show up.

When reporting an issue please attach copies of your gameex.ini and log.txt files. This helps us help you quicker.

If you are having issues seeing games via MAME, please let us know what MAME version you are using.

Also, your MAME version must match the version of your ROMS!

Other than that GameEx does filter out a lot of the crap by default. By default you can expect a list of about 3,600 games from a full set, Settings can be adjusted.

When reporting an issue and requesting assistance, help us to help you quickly by attaching in your thread copies of your latest gameex.ini and log.txt files.

There are ways to get some ROMS to show by being familiar with and adjusting the Advanced MAME settings. Having your gameex.ini as a reference makes recommendations of the settings easier, however, you can read through the following to see where to make adjustments, specifically with regards to Allow Imperfect Games and Don't Filter These ROMS sections of the Advanced MAME Settings via the Setup Wizard.
