I mentioned that I installed the latest version of PinballX to test and it also does the same thing...it opens Zaccaria correctly, it selects the tables correctly but when exiting (with Q) it does not completely close the Zaccaria emulator...it remains open under PinballX.. I appreciate any help or suggestion.

Can you post a log of latest pinballx ?

What happen if you press ESC ?

My exitemulator and quit are assigned to the same keyboard key/joystick button and for both the esc is working

There it is from version 6.58... I mentioned that I changed the exit button "Q" to "ESC" and it does the same... I just tried it on another PC with Windows 7 and it works fine... when I press "Q" remove the game completely...what could be the problem on the Windows 10 PC?

Are there differences between joy.cpl in Windows 7 and Windows 10? Also suggest comparing the pinballx.ini [KeyCodes] and [JoyCodes] sections between the two installs.

I apologize...in Windows 7 the same thing happens...what happened was that in w7 Zaccarias minimized it to the taskbar and accumulated them if you opened several games...on the other hand in w10 the game remains in full screen under PinballX.

If you can identify the process you could possibly create a batch file to kill the process name and point to it in the Launch After section in the emulator for Zaccaria.

BINGO! In Windows 7, look for the process with the command prompt and I was able to solve it... in Windows 10 I had to force it to close with "/F"... thank you very much Draco1962 for such valuable help.

The process name is the same. There is a difference, however, in the use of Taskkill command line. Within Win 7, you can get by with taskkill /IM ZaccariaP8nball.exe yet in Windows 10/11, you have to add /F to the end of the command line - taskkill /IM ZaccariaPinball.exe /F which is a forced kill switch.
