Created a North American based Nintendo DS map file which removes the No-Intro scene number and duplicates (Revisions, demos, bad dumps etc). Main reason it was created was to remove the pesky numbers that No-Intro uses without rebuilding the set.

Not terribly hard to create but I couldn't find one posted. Hopefully someone else finds a use for it =)

If you head over to the User Projects forum, in my post you will find an app I created to make map files. You would be able to do something fairly quickly once you got the hang of the program. Adultery has a map program on his post as well.

I took the task of updating the Playstation Database file using the redump naming convention. I used the No-Intro column since I couldn't figure out how to rename it to Redump. If anyone knows how to do this, pls do tell. No-Intro doesn't do CD stuff so, yea :P

Also, I'm wondering how this database is so neatly organized alphabetically. If I need to add new entries, they are added at the very bottom and lose the alphabetical arrangement. Any way to go about that? There's a couple of entries that need duplication since different regions use different names.

Alsox2, it seems some titles have trouble matching when using periods in titles. For Example, "Armorines - Project S.W.A.R.M.", or "Bio F.R.E.A.K.S.". "I.Q - Intelligent Qube" seems to work though, so maybe it's only when there are multiple periods in a title.

Anyway, hope some people find good use for it. Spent some effort on it. For anyone using redump's naming conventions, it should make their stuff match the DB very neatly. :D

EDIT: Used SQLite 2009 Pro

Hi to all! I post a pair of command line (and something else) of NAOMI NullDC and NAOMI Makaron

NullDC: (good for Capcom vs SNK Millenium Fight 2000 Pro and Street Fighter Zero 3 Upper)

GameEx command line:

nullDC_Win32_Release.exe -config Naomi:DefaultImage="[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]"

Example of config file of nullDC.cfg

nullDC.txt

Makaron T12/5: (good for Marvel vs. Capcom 2)

GameEx command line:

Naomi.exe "[rompath]\[romfile]"

And Advanced Config to close properly the emulator:

Mapping Off Exit (F8, ALT+F4).ini

Example of ini for keyboard users:

JVS.txt

Keys codes:

code keys.txt

Anyway if you want to change keys quickly: download makaronEX; set the keys in its GUI; move the inis in the other makaron (T12/5) folder. It works!

Here is an Advanced Config file for C64 Forever 2013 that will close the emulator process and return back to GameEx. The authors are working on possibly fixing this so you will be able to exit C64 Forever by holding the ESC key down for like 3 secs and will exit back to desktop. So until they do that you can use this config file in your setup.

MAKARON (NAOMI): Updated #55 with the correction of the JVS.ini for playing with 2 players on the same keyboard. I've removed the KEY_0x36 = COIN2 because it created conflict with the following 2P keys.

Database and Map file updates for DEmul 0.582. These should also fix the launcher errors within the separate demul emulation options. Just make sure you select the appropriate mapfile for each DEmul emulation mode (naomi, atomiswave, etc).

I recently added nullDC to GameEx and had a bit of a time finding a valid Command Line setup that would load the target image.

Here is what I eventually found on the internets that worked:

nullDC_Win32_Release-NoTrace.exe -config Emulator.Autostart=1 -config ImageReader:LoadDefaultImage=1 -config ImageReader:DefaultImage="[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]"

I know that this thread is a little old, but I found it to be so darned useful when setting GameEx up again, so I figured I would post this.

Hey all,

Found a easier way for Cemu.

here's the basics

emu_21_info=Nintendo Wii U Emulator
emu_21_titletext=Nintendo Wii U
emu_21_startpagename=Nintendo Wii U
emu_21_startpagelogo=
emu_21_command=Cemu.exe -f -g

[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]

emu_21_romfilter=*.rpx;*.wux;*.wud

have Game ex search for Roms in folders. I am not 100% sure if you can rename your files. But I am attaching a map file and you can edit to suit your needs.

Thanks for the update. Just so you know you are posting cache settings from the ini though, not the actual config. The actual config would be under the section [EMULATOR_21]

The main thing to note here though is the ROMS in folders setting which has been updated in more recent times to support this.

Duckstation PS1 Emulator command line:

duckstation-sdl-x64-ReleaseLTCG.exe -fullscreen "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]"

The QT version has the built-in GUI, so I used the SDL version. It worked fine in GameEx, so I did not even test the other.
