To ensure a prompt response, please be aware of where you are posting a thread as this was found in the GameEx>General subforum.

The description of the issue is vague so I will ask a few questions to help start triage and I invite others to question and assist as well:

- Does this happen with all systems or just Visual Pinball? If just Visual Pinball, what version?

- Does this happen with all tables, a few tables, or one table? If only a few or one, what are the tables?

Please note that you will be asked to update to the latest version 6.07 as you are on an older version 5.96.

Thank you for your reply.
First I updated pinballx.
At first this seemed to solve the problem then when turning the wheel the backglass froze on the selected table,
even if you turned the wheel again! It is always the last video played that remains.
Sometimes it is even the start-up video that remains on the backglass even when the wheel appears on the playfield.
Furthermore, the front ed output command is no longer active.
I assume that pinballx is installed on disk d because there is not enough space on c.
I only use visualpinballx emulator version 10.7.2.
Thanks for your help

Do you have the recommended LAV codecs installed?

What resolved it for you if you don't mind?

Think it must have been the LAV codecs, that could have caused the issue as described.

I took a lob across the net then the sun went down and missed the return. Some days I deal better with extreme brevity than others and need it spelled out. Thanks @scutters!
