wrd1972
Take a look at this. The backglass images are properly sized through VPX editor, but are jacked when viewed through PinballX. I cant find a fix for this in PinballX settings. Why is it not simply showing the same backglass dimensions as shown when using the editor? What's going on here? Draco1962
To be honest, I don't think that making the change you are attempting to disable the high DPI scaling by PinballX is the right answer and may cause issues elsewhere. I do not run VP currently but my gut is tellinng me that you probably have a conflict between PinballX and a setting in DB2S for the backglass. I will defer to our resident experts to see if they have seen this or have a suggestion of where to look. P.S. If you find a resolution here or elsewhere, please share here and within your thread on VP Forums.
Mike_da_Spike
Can you also post your pinballx.ini and log.txt ? Maybe you do something special with b2s by pinballx ? I never have issues wit b2server launching by pinballx. What are the dpi settings in windows for your screens ?

Your log doesn't show the launch of the table, but dont think anything is wrong with the settings of PinballX. my guess is thar your exe file is running with strange (windows) settings, or your desktop configuration is not 'standard'. wrd1972
The issue is related to adjusting the scaling setting to 125%. I am doing this to make the icons bigger on the screens due to the high-res I am using. It also appears that this setting is enlarging the DB2S backglass images by 125% too, but this does NOT happen using PinballX. I have it all working now by using the override DPI setting within the VP10 executable instead of the one for PinballX. So with the DPI override checked in the VP10 executable, the backglass images are shown at the normal 100% setting. Now things are consistent. Thanks guys for chiming in.

So, just for my understanding (yes I'm a foreigner and doesn't get everything quickly ) Do you have set for the VP exe file the "High DPI scaling override" enabled (as you mention before that de-selecting fixed it)? if you move to version 10.8 (at some moment), you can uncheck this again as 10.8 is high DPI aware See vpinball/txt/Changelog.txt at master · vpinball/vpinball (github.com) Quote - the application is now fully 'DPI aware'. This means that one can use multiple monitors at different DPI settings. This may require to adjust the position of windows on existing installs.
wrd1972
I am already running 10.8 latest Betas. It still seems to be working fine. Here is what I have for the DPI override on the VP executable:
