When launched: How does PinballX determine the position of the "Systems" wheel?

Hi All;

When launched, I would like PinballX to show the "Systems" wheel in a consistent position. It seems to vary.

I have 23 systems defined. I only use "Other Systems" entries, not the predefined systems. The systems are displayed in alphabetical order, but when PinballX is launched it positions the wheel somewhere in the middle, not at the beginning alphabetically (which would be my preference).

I thought it was related to the PinballX.ini file's [Internal] lastSelected... entry. But I blanked that entry out, and when I started PinballX it still positioned the "system" wheel somewhere in the middle.

Thanks for your help!

I think it is the [Internal] lastselected value in the ini file as you suspected, but if that entry isn't present then it's random.

The lastselected value will be indicate the system (and table if applicable) you last selected before exiting PinballX.

Isn't it mostly the 3rd or 4th wheel entry ?

I noticed this for years, also in the tables. When I go for example to vpx and launch table "24", when i e it this table, it is return toanother table. Only happening whit tables/systems that start at begin.

To be honest, I never bothered it. But maybe Tom knows why it never starts at the begin position
