two dmds when running pinballx

Hi, I'm hoping somebody can help me solve this issue.

When running tables through pinballx I'm getting a second dmd on my backglass in addition to my real dmd on my pin2dmd.  I have real  dmd disabled in the pinballx settings, hidedmd set on the game manager, showdmd is not ticked on the pinmame options and virtual dmd on freezy is set to false. when running the table directly from vpx i don't have this issue.

Do you have virtualdmd enabled = true in dmddevice.ini? (just wondering if the 2nd dmd is always there, but when starting from vpx direct it appears behind the backgalss)

One other thing to check, make sure 'auto position dmd' is set to No in PinballX display settings.

No, it's set to false. And the auto posotion dmd on pinballx was set to no already.  Using Alt tab when running just through vpx shows that it's not there. It doesn't make any sense.

I ended up using the old SetDMD software to move it behind the playfield for now as a workaround.

Strange. Is the 2nd dmd a dmddevice / external dmd window or a pinmame dmd display?

(If you ALT+TAB is the window title 'virtual dmd' or the rom name, 'virtual dmd' is a dmddevice window, romname is a pinmame window)

I think I had the same issue last year. Just with 1 table.

Launching voa vpx only showed it on my real dmd, but launching it via pbx gave me an extra virtual screen.

I cant recall which table it was, and can't recall aither what I did to avoid this.

Think it might be a bug. Log shows 'Setting DMD position' despite Auto Position DMD being set to False, think this can then show the pinmame dmd.

(might not affect all tables depending on the script controller.hidden setting i guess)
