[RESOLVED] Marquee Help

Hello all,

I turned on the cabinet today and for some reason the marquee isn't working anymore. I'm providing the rquired ini and log files. I've tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling everything to no avail. any help would be appreciated

Assuming you are referring to the Pixelcade marquee you noted from a prior post.

Have there been any recent changes/updates to your Windows installation? I pulled a log file from a recent post that shows an "Unknown Windows Version" and the latest log file now shows "Windows 11Microsoft Windows 11 Home 64-bit."

If you recently upgraded your Windows to 11, have you reached out to Arzoo to confirm that the LEDBlinky plugin is compatible? Same question for Pixelcade.

Im at a loss as to why different things are showing up. Ive been running windows 11. i was running 11 when it was all working, this is weird.

Any recent updates to Windows 11? There have been some revisions recently for the builds. Not saying with any certainty that this is the cause.

Also, have you tried installing the previous version 18.35 of GameEx?

FWIW, I tested with my PC with Windows 10 Pro x64 with v18.36 of GameEx and GameEx Arcade Edition and Pixelcade marquee launches and displays without an error.

hmmmm, windows did update. I think it's gonna be broke for awhile. Thanx Draco appreciated!!

I wouldn't give up. I had an issue with GameEx displaying a "black screen" after updating to the latest version.  It resolved after I re-downloaded 18.36 and performed an over-the-top installation. Not the same issue but maybe worth a try?

Did a complete un-install and reinstall of Game Ex. Now 50% of the marquees work. Beats what I had before

Check the file names and formats of those that do not work. 

Do you get any of your files from the Pixelcade sources?

Yep got em from Pixelcade install. So far everything works except for Tekno Parrot and Switch. What's weird is Panasonic 3DO didn't work and now it does.

Besides covering how to change default marquees, it also instructs on how to add new systems.

This link did the trick, Thanx Draco!! I'm now in the process of changing things to suit me. I did get Switch and Tekno Parrot working again.
