Luizrueda
I have a virtual pinball cabinet made with 3 screens running Future Pinball (BAM) with PinballX on the front end in a Windows10 environment. This machine worked perfectly, but now when I launch a table in PinballX, the bar doesn’t show progress, the program hangs and I can only exit by typing ctrl+alt+del. If I launch the table through Future Pinball it opens normally. What could it be, has anyone had this problem? Thanks for helping me. Tom Speirs
Did anything change? Did you update PinballX or anything else?

Luizrueda
I did a test now: I put an old backup and tried to play again and the same error occurred. I think it must be some Win10 update that is causing this error... Luiz
Mike_da_Spike
Are you running the latest version of windows 10 (22h2) ? Maybe try to undo the latest security updates
scutters
Could be windows updates turned defender back on (if you disabled it rather than adding exceptions) or just updated some other dependency. Also, make sure you read https://vpuniverse.com/forums/topic/7384-4-gb-patch-for-future-pinball-and-bam-a-must-have/, especially the bit about recent windows updates needing FPLoader to run under windows 8 compatibility.
Luizrueda
Ok, thanks for your answer. My machine was running the Windows 10 version (22h2), so I uninstalled this update and even tried to uninstall the security updates, which was not possible because it gave an error and so I left the exceptions added. I restarted the machine again and the error continued. Now I'm going to reinstall Windows and see if the error goes away.
Luizrueda
PROBLEM SOLVED I uninstalled the 22H2 update of Windows 10, but PX continued with the same error, because along with the 22H2 version was also installed a security update that does not allow uninstall. So I downloaded an earlier version of Windows 10 and reinstalled Windows 10 again and now PX is working again, UUHHHUUU.
