Mike_da_Spike
Did you enabled the use of loading folders in your settings.exe ? I see in your ini file that. It is turned off [Interface] UseTableLoadingMedia=False On page 4-5 of the PinballX documentation it is also explained how it is working Also check my post link in my previous message from Scutters . This will also explain the works of it (and to de-randomize it)
Sgc1
Yes in settings it's enabled
scutters
I can't see the plugin loading in the pinballx log file. Open Plugin/Manager in your pinballx folder and make sure there is a check / tick mark next to the loading image changer plugin. If the plugin isn't listed make sure the dll isn't blocked (see plugin install instructions on the link Mike provided). If you still have issues please post fresh copies of your pinballx log and ini file along with a copy of the PBXLoadingImage_log.txt file (found in pinballx\plugins folder)
Sgc1
Yes in settings it's enabled PinballX.ini PBXLoadingImage_log.txt log.txt
Mike_da_Spike
Your loadimage logfile is from 2019. 10/10/2019 9:28:43 AM : PBXLoadingImage (Version: 2.1.0) 10/10/2019 9:28:43 AM : Loading Images path: C:\Visual Pinball\PinballX\Media\Loading Images\ 10/10/2019 9:28:43 AM : Loading Videos path: C:\Visual Pinball\PinballX\Media\Loading Videos\ 10/10/2019 9:28:43 AM : PinballX Loading Media flat set to use playfield images. Plugin will not process loading images. 10/10/2019 9:28:43 AM : Initialize Complete 10/10/2019 9:29:13 AM : PinballX Exit The plugin is not enabled. But back to your issue. Is it not showing any loading video when a game is starting? Without the pluging it should show a random video from the folder. If not, do you have the files in the correct folder? Sgc1
Is it in the main loading video folder in the menu or do I create on in the visual pinball folder. Thanks
Mike_da_Spike
It should be in "Pinballx\Media\Loading Videos"
Sgc1
Yes that's where I have them just tried one and it plays all tables have replaced the loading dll and loading folders enabled.
scutters
@Sgc1 can you confirm some details about your PinballX install, is it installed in C:\PinballX or C:\Visual Pinball\PinballX? (the pinballx log and the old loading image plugin log seem to point at different locations) If PinballX is running from C:\PinballX then the loading videos should be placed in C:\PinballX\Media\Loading Videos\ and the plugin in C:\PinballX\Plugins
Sgc1
Hi pictures of folders, still playing random. I have all set up as you say. thanks

So, random shows that Loading Videos is working. This is default behaviour of pinballx. All the videos will be randomized showed when a table is launched 6 hours ago, Sgc1 said: You only got 1 video, so it will only show that video during all of a table . You need to have videos for all tables to show more For example, this is my loading videos folder: this contains videos for all my tables I have or, to have it as a system : And as mentioned before, your plugin to de-randomize it, is not enabled. Check a couple of post back from me and scutters. The thread of Scutters shows exactly how to enable, and configure it. I put a link in the 2nd post of this thread. When you enable this, and launch pbx once, it will de-randomize the videos. But you must be sure that the video names are matching the correct table name. For this you can add the videos with correct name with Database manager as well. This will give the correct name that the plugin expects When launching DBM after the plugin is enabled and PinballX is launched 1 time It will show the hourglass icon (this represent that you have Scutters plugin enabled within PBX) Dragging any media video to it, will save the file in the correct directory on the file name and Scutters plugin will take care of it I hope this all make sense now
