Thanksgiving is a holiday celebrated in the US for family and friends to gather, usually over a smoked or baked turkey, ham, yams and other fixins, to express thanks for all that has been given and the people present or that have passed. 

It wouldn't be a holiday without me posting something philosophical, thoughtful, or reflecting upon days gone by and people missed. But I won't.

These esteemed gentlemen William "Bill" S. Preston Esq. and Ted "Theodore" Logan I think said it best.
