Game does not show up on wheel - GameEx Arcade

I can't see Bubble Bobble anymore on my wheel. The ROM runs fine in MAME itself. I've played it a hundred times from this same GameEx installation. It's at a rental home that I only visit every few months. When I went a few days ago Bubble Bobble was gone. Could a guest somehow have changed what displays? Seems unlikely.

The MAME ROM filter option is off. It's also set to allow imperfect games. How is that wheel generated, an .xml file? Can I edit it manually? Unfortunately, I'm not at the home so I can't attach any files.

In "Advanced MAME Settings" in the setup wizard there is a "Don't Filter these ROMS" setting.  Put the file name for Bubble Bobble in that field and save/update.
