Gettitng somethings setup, the only problem (my problem) I'm having is my wheel art in PinballX is a bit too transparent for me.

I went into the pinx config and messed with some hex on wheel line and text lines but nothing I could get to make it 100% transparent?

I thought it would be a simple line " Wheel Transparency=xxxxxxxx". Can someone help me out with this?

If this is not something we can do, can this be something we can in the future?

Thanks!

Are you referring to the underlay over which the wheel logos travel when paging through the available games?

Like wheel logos, underlays are created by users using Photoshop, GIMP, Paint.net or similar software.

You would need to edit the source files to change the transparency or opacity of the images. This is outside of the scope of what PinballX is designed to do.

Can you attach a copy of the file in question as this may help clarify things.

Transparancy for images, is just like a window.

An image can start with a full transparant frame and you put something on it. The transparancy is still 100%.

If you want to 'dim' your image a bit, so it is not transparant, you need to add layer that can show your image for xx% opacity.

You cannot control it with the program that should show it, but with the editor (as draco already mentioned)

Also make sure that you. Have the correct filefprmat. Gof is transparancy pixel off or on, but png can have a nice gradient level.

Some good examples are Scutters animated company logos.  He has created neon styled animated pngs.  Those have a opacity when the neon is set to on, so it gives a real light experience on top of you media that you are showing.

Please share your image that you want more or less transparancy in, so we can have a look as well(or post some screenshots of your issue and what you try to accomplish)
