c64 Winvice esc key (Run/stop)

Hi all,

I have been surfing the topics and have not found anything that answers my question below...

When playing a lot of c64 games, a lot of them require that you press Run/Stop (Escape key) to continue. needless to say whenever i press the esc key it exits winvice back to Gameex. There are no options in Winvice to remap the keys and i haven't found a way to get by this frustrating issue...

Anyone got the answer (in laymans terms please)

in GameEx config, change the option to "map keys" in the emulator setup. GameEx monitors the escape and back buttons and when it sees one being pressed it will exit for you. You of course know this part, but the option allows you to disable this. If you are running a cabinet, you'll need to find another clean way to exit. My ipac allows macros to help me out.

Will is right. You can try using an advanced config (C:\Program Files\GameEx\CONFIG\EMULATORS) to map the escape function to a combination of buttons.
