peterson65 Posted July 6, 2022 Share Posted July 6, 2022 i am using gameex arcade on my game cabinet and in attract mode i could select only favorites in the settings but its nice to see some game demo that i have never seen running . i have no majong selected in the mame options in the setting for mame in gameex but i get demos of them and poker games some come up with screens that say call attendant door open and it just sits there till it switches, is it possible to do something where only arcade games demo? thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Draco1962 Posted July 8, 2022 Share Posted July 8, 2022 I have not had a chance to look deeply at this to see if I can replicate the error as I have been focused on issues surrounding a death in the family. I did let mine run for a bit and did not see anything that I shouldn't. Be sure that you have disabled what you don't want to see in the list within the Advanced MAME Settings for integrated MAME and Update List within GameEx AE after any changes. Draco1962 Posted July 8, 2022 Share Posted July 8, 2022 Realistically, GameEx is not going to see 10K of the complete ROM set as it filters out the mechanical ROMS. That said, I was able to replicate what you described so @Tom Speirswill need to take a look and determine if this is truly a bug or limitation for Attract Mode in that it does not rely upon the integrated MAME settings. Following are my confirmations - I was able to limit what was displayed when Favorites ere enabled. - I saw Mahjong, Poker and other games that I have set in the Game Filter in the Advanced MAME settings as well as disabled under No Mahjong Games and No Casino Games.
