GameEx credentials not saving in PinballX

Hello! I just re-installed PinballX after taking time off. When going through the setup wizard, I am not able to get the application to save my GameEx credentials. I type them in and go to the next page, and when I return, they're gone. The game manager also doesn't register that I have provided credentials, since I'm not able to download media. 

What am I missing here?

I thought that you need to launch PinballX once. That will encrypt the password in tne registry.

You have used your emailaddress instead of username, right?

Email address, yes. Also, I've launched PinballX a few times. I keep revisiting the Settings application, rebooting, etc. to see if something like you describe needs to occur. But, the problem is persisting.

Sounds like a rights issue. Do you have full rights to the PinballX folder and subfolders?

I thought it was saved in registry. HKCU\software\gameex online

As far as I can think the issue is caused by improper install of PinballX. The registry key is created by the installer.

(GameEx Online is stored elsewhere in the registry. Ill double check but it should be created by the installer).
