PBX Recorder does not record backglass video or image and more - RESOLVED

Help - I have been using PBXRecorder to create table and background videos for PinballX for all of my tables.  I have 140 working tables.  Recently did some updates and for some reason the recorder no longer records my backglass.  Tables work fine via VPX or started via PinballX but I wnat to get my menu looking nice and not with a missing backglass.  I have included INI amd LOG files along with a Screenres.txt from my VP/Tables directory.

I have a 2 display system with a Pin DMD.  I also made sure backglass and playfield were selected for reconding in PBXRecorder.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not using pbxrecorder, so not able to help you on that one, but is the build in recorder of PBX not sufficient? That will als do the missing tables

The pbxrecorder log file shows the resolution of screen 2 as being 0*1080?

Monitor Count: 2,  Primary Monitor: 1
Monitor 1: 1920x1080 (\\.\DISPLAY1)
Monitor 2: 0x1080 (\\.\DISPLAY2)

As far as i know that information is returned from windows but pbxrecorder will then use the information in screenres.txt to work out the screen areas to record - so the monitor resolution as logged may or may not be the issue. Seems a good place to start though, how are your monitors setup in windows?

One thing you could try is running the example command line from the log file in a cmd window;

"C:\PBX Recorder\PBXRecorder_x64\FFMpeg\bin\ffmpeg" -y -t 35 -rtbufsize 1500M -f gdigrab -framerate 30 -offset_x 1920 -offset_y 0 -video_size 1920x1080 -i desktop -vcodec libx264 -preset ultrafast  -qp 0 -threads 8 "C:\PBX Recorder\PBXRecorder_x64\bg.mkv"

If pbx recorder is hiding a ffmpeg error then this should be visible in the output. 

Don't worry about running a table with the command, it should just record whatever is showing on your backglass screen at the time as "C:\PBX Recorder\PBXRecorder_x64\bg.mkv"

Will try Thursday when I get back home.  Two monitors in windows both 1920x1080 and both indicate extend display.  Playfield is monitor 1 and backglass is monitor two.

RESOLVED - I had swapped the positions of the playfield and backglass monitor in the Windows layout.  That messed up offsets even though monitors were labeled correctly.  Backglass monitor has to be positioned to the right of the backglass monitor in the layout..
