Mike_da_Spike
I cannot make anything of this. Whats the pinballx version you use ? Is it happen suddenly or after upgrading pinballx ? Or adter security update? Maybe as an alternative try Databasemanager.
scutters
Please also advise if PinballX is running normally for all enabled systems (to rule out corrupt database xml) other than that i don't have many ideas except as Mike says, what happened before the issue started (any windows, hardware, pinballx changes etc)? aupton
Sorry, forgot the most important info. I'm testing with the latest version, PinballX 5.32 and its been almost a year since I last updated and don't recall what my previous version was, but it did previously work. Having been a while since last powering up there were numerous Windows 10 OS and Nvidia driver updates as well so difficult to nail down any correlation to any specific update. Pinball X appears to be working correctly I have been using Database Manager to get things configured in the absence of Game Manager, but prefer Game Manager. scutters
Sorry, not tried using Game Manager in a while. Turns out i get the same issue if i try to open it with the 32bit version installed. I can open it ok using a 64bit install though. I'm guessing you're probably using a 32bit PinballX install? If so, try checking the 64 bit option during the install options to see if that fixes it. Tom Speirs
I get no issue with game manager on 32 bit install. Hard to know much more without a PinballX log. Dont know what version you are running.
scutters
Narrowed it down a bit more as it works ok on a test install to a clean directory. Turns out it's the usepinmame flag in the pinballx.ini file (?). Using this ini file with V5.33 32bit Game Manager crashes after a couple of seconds. Change the to UsePinMAME=False and Game Manager will work. PinballX.ini log.txt PinballX will launch ok whichever way the flag is set
