Hi, running pinballx ver 5.14, VPX 10.6 and pinball FX3 (recent install).  I had pinballx with just VPX running just fine--shows all the tables in the wheel.  So I set up FX3 and it runs on its own no problems.  The problem I'm having is getting the FX3 games to show up in the main wheel.

let's use "StarWrs_SFA" as the test.

Fx3 has been enabled in the setup portion of the program  and the game itself has been enabled inside game manager (under FX3 tab)

I have renamed the wheel, backglass and playfied images to "Starwars_SFA.png, for each of the respective files and added them in the game manager (do they have to have the same filename? just curious)

In the "settings" program I have selected "enable" under systems list but disabled "show on startup" (reason being is I want one list--if that can't happen then I'll have to switch software--the users in the house do not approve of going through sublists on arcade machines :))

When restarted only the visual pinball files are showing and I can't find the "show all" setting to save my life

HELP!

In PinballX Settings.exe, under General Settings turn off 'one click launch table'. When you select to play a game instead of immediately launching a menu will then appear, one item on that menu is an 'all tables' option. If that's the only list you'll use then you can select it and then exit out of PinballX, then re-enable one click launch again in settings.

The media can be named the same as the table name or the table description. With file matching enabled in general settings (which you have) then the names don't need to fully match, fuzzy name matching is used.

I even think that in the menu entry, there is an. "All tables"  that will show all.

Not at the cabinet now to confirm, but pretty sure it is there.

You can also "group" multiple systems and select those from the menu.

Eureka!  Thank you! Thank you!--what an odd place to put that setting!  Maybe it could get a line item inside the setup program?  Anyways, that's for bigger brains than mine to sort out.  Thanks again for the help!
