Wiesshund
Animated system logo with animated company logo, only company appears. That may be normal, but i could not find any info, tried searching the forum. A static PNG will show up under the animated company logo, but a gif or apng will not. Is that normal? if so, fine, so be it, just want to make sure i do not have something set wrong someplace. I am referring to where they show up in the top right side of the screen, when you pick a table, not the system overlay on the wheel i know you cant animate those. Just the images in system logos and company logos
scutters
In desktop mode? I just tried an animated company logo & and animated system logo with the latest pinballx and both were visible (and animated). I used apngs for both, didn't try with a gif in the combination. PinballX was updated recently so .png extension files will always be static regardless or whether or not they are actually an apng in disguise. Apngs needs to use .apng as extension now. All i can suggest for now is update PinballX, check what files you have in the media folders (duplicates with different file types or .png extension rather than .apng extension used etc)... and as always, attach your pinballx log.txt & pinballx.ini files. Wiesshund
I have the most recent pinballX I am using your images Scutters for the animated company logos And PcTeknic's animated system logos Maybe it is intended behavior in pinballXlite they do show in pinballx full version, only problem there is the backglass video on top of the table which is not a problem per se, that is where it is, kind of, pinballx just does not realize that the playfield does not take up the entire screen on this laptop and i dont really expect it to understand this PinballX.ini log.txt
Mike_da_Spike
Maybe a stupid question, but why are you using the lite version ? Although the pc is not midend, it looks like it has enough 'power' to run full pbx. Maybe Tom disabled this on purpose to lower the resources in PBX Lite
scutters
Ah, PinballX Lite... yep, will need @Tom Speirsto confirm intended behaviour for animated logos there (i've never used it), i suspect it's by design.
Tom Speirs
It would be a feature request then guys. Ill take a look and see if it breaks the lite mission statement. If not I see no issue but perhaps I would be better addressing the initial issue with the backglass? I assume you have an additional display hooked up to the laptop that you don't want to use? If its a single display though it is easily resolved. Just tell the backglass to show on a display you don't have. Anything other than 1 in your case. This will disable it. The default is supposed to be 2. So I guess you changed it or I screwed up!
