PacDrive does not always work / how to setup?

Hi,

I am using PacLed64 to control button LED and to activate some relays for strobes and it is working just fine but it cannot be used to drive the RGB ligths due to the small current outputs so I installed the PacDrive unit as well and here comes the problem. Sometimes it works, sometimes all outputs are on and sometimes nothing!! how do I control the PacDrive unit? The only thing I have done is to plug it in and set up the DOF configuration. It is like it has its own life, what to do??

I think I found the problem, the Pacdive is overheating after sometime so I will just remove it and use PacLEd64 with relays and mosfets.

I thought Pacdrive was able to drive 2 RGB strips directly.

No clues here from me. If your power inputs and RGB strips are to supported specs, I'd make note and contact your Pac-Drive source. Even if it is out of warranty, most distributors will make good on replacing a defective unit within reason.

check the wattage output its usally watts per feet to see if you have enough power to drive to 2 strips, if yes than as drago said could be a faulty unit.
