L O A D I N G vs Sundial Spiral and few other questions

I am new to PinballX and still learning the ropes on configuration but so far so good.

I am curious as to the significance behind some tables that come up with LOADING screen as compared to others where the interim screen is what I will describe as a sundial spiral.

What causes one versus the other to be displayed?

Also, still learning the ropes on tables where artwork is not able to be found.  I am currently only using Visual Pinball X and associated tables. All the tables I have incorporated into Pinball X have table and backglass images.  I know these are separate from Pinball X and not related to the images that are displayed in the interface.

Is there some table name or other variable that could be tweaked that is the cause behind pinballx not being able to find certain images?

If pinballx cannot find images, I have not yet figured out a way to find them myself and then import them. Is there a feature for that to point it to a directory of images that I have acquired?

Also, one of my tables works fine but displays "DAMAGED" tag on it. It wasn't always there in the beginning. What causes this tag to be on the display?

Thanks in advance for any answers and feedback to my newbie questions.

I use Database Manager instead of gamemanager.

This is an easy way to see if you misses media and you can add it easily from different sources:

Drag and drop from explorer in the program, browse to file, doenload from FTP (if you got a member account) or add mega download links.

for wheels, instructions cards, flyers and launch music,  I use a combination of FTP and Mega links. Backglass and Playfield I create videos from my own.

For DMD and Topper I use a program that is also availble to download that create a small video from wheel, company logo and year.

For your loading, there is a folder under pinballx\media\loading images (and loading videos)

Any files will randomly be showed during loading.

There is an option in settings(i thought) that generates a still images from the playfield video and shows that.

I use Scutters loading plugin with some other scripting that creates loading videos. A couple of DMD videos are generated and placed over the table video. And with scutters plugin, that specific video is loaded and shows an almost seamless experience

Hope this make sense to you

Yes, thank you very much, makes sense.

I will check out the database manager tool as it sounds like is has the exact features I was referring to in terms of adding images that Game Manager itself does not find on import.
