bpjacobsen
I tried recording tables from game manager and it seems like the tables launch and record but don't close and the dmd from previous tables are staying on the screen causing a messy recording. Any suggestions?
scutters
Please attach log.txt and pinballx.ini files when raising issues so we have a better idea of your setup/version/issue. But, if PinballX isn't closing during recording (VPX?) then is the emulator running as admin but not PinballX? Sorry, more info needed.
Mike_da_Spike
Not sure if this is the same issue, but noticed that vpinmame (freezy's dll) keeps sometimes the last frame on my dmd after ending a table. Starting an EM table after that, will still display the last frame on the dmd. During record it can be annoying(I don't record the dmd, so I dont care) When using PinballX, XDMD will show information in the frontend for every table, and will reset the freezing image. Maybe between recording, the DMD can be cleared by PBX ? @Tom Speirs

Totally different things. That's why more info is needed! @bpjacobsen

I updated the parameters field to include the exit script and that resolved the stuck dmd issue: (in pbx settings under visual pinball) RunWait, /STAYINRAM /play -"[TABLEPATH]\[TABLEFILE]" /exit /arcaderender,,hide UseErrorLevel However, after running all night, it successfully recorded about half of my tables. The other half recorded what appears to be a hung up game manager per attached example. I deleted those and will run again w/ hopes I will get more successful recordings. Any idea why this might be happening? also attaching the requested files. pbx cfg.txt log.txt
Mike_da_Spike
Where did you find those parameters for VPX ? I thought most are for FP. I only use -play -"TABLEPATH]\[TABLEFILE]"
scutters
Yeah, those launch parameters do look like FP ones. For the recording issue not sure, some kind of glitch half way but hard to tell what. I haven't done a large batch in ages. Try again with the the others as planned and let us know if it succeeds. If not post the log.txt file after you see the issue (i think the log you posted was a test run rather than when you had the issue).
Mike_da_Spike
I should also fix the command line parameters. Is the table behind gamemanager ? Or is that a background picture ?
