Hello gentlemen,

I am not sure if I have asked this before or not but is it possible to get LEDBlinky to light the correct buttons in Custom Game lists?  My main Mame Emulator works fine and shows the correct buttons when going through the game list in GameEx and when in game.  But in any of my custom list I created for My Top 10, my daughters list, japense exports, etc all show all my buttons lit up when scrolling through the GameEx game list and in game.

Curious if anyone else has noticed this before.

Thanks,

Rich

Id be happy to help but I am not sure I can. I'm not sure what LedBlinky is doing here and don't think I can find out. Also what do you mean exactly by custom lists? Do you mean custom menus, MAME custom list inis, emulator groups or something else?

I mean a custom game list.  So I have my main Arcard game list that is associated with Mame in GameEx.  I can update that list from the menu and LEDBlinky works fine there.

The I have my custom lists, one that only has 10 games/roms listed called "Top Ten."  Then I have another for my daughter's games that maybe has 8-12 games listed.  I have those list show up in the GameEx Arcade main list.

Arcade - Is my default Mame list

Top Ten, Alli, Japaense imports, etc are all additional custom lists and they do not see to pull in whatever control scheme LEDBlinky pulls in for Mame, I think.  :)

Here are some screenshots of the menu as well.

The fact that even the control panel shows the right buttons just before the game loads in the custom lists seems like the controls are correct.  Not sure why LED Blinky is not seeing the same.

Could it be a path issue within LEDBlinky? I only use it for Pixelcade integration, but I seem to recall settings for MAME paths in the configuration of the plugin via Setup Wizard.

I suggest looking there to see if something is missing.

I checked there and I do not see any path locations to change for various emulators in GameEx.  On different FEs to use.  It is just a minor thing...but might just end up getting rid of custom lists anyone...not sure I even use them anymore  LOL
