Xpadder configuration is Lost

Xpadder configuration

I went to reconfigure my neo-geo emulator in the xpadder plugin and when choosing a specific game instead of the names provided in the .map list I made are the names of the files.
I honestly don't remember. Was it always like this? Yeah and I don't think so.

One last detail that concerns the xpadder in gameex. I realized that during the use of gameex the settings made in the xpadder plugin were lost. Being necessary to open the plugin again and go through that configuration to choose the configured controls. Remembering head on. During all this time using gameex, I could count about 6 times that I had to reconfigure the plugins part related to xpadder. I can only guess that something must happen when installing a new version of gameex (although I paid attention today with this latest update and nothing happened). 
Can anyone tell me if this happens to anyone else?

I am currently using the latest gameex update (GameExSetup 16.41).

Not much can be done if you overwrote or lost tbe file. I can't say I've heard of the happening before, so difficult to say that this is a GameEx issue proper.

BTW, you have quite a few recent threads open as of late. Are any resolved?

If it really is a common thing to happen, couldn't the developer update the plug-in? So that it reads the .map file? It was going to make life easier.

As I noted, this is the first I have heard of this happening. If you are using the Xpadder plugin, it has not been updated in quite a while and the author has not been regular on the forums in quite a while. 

You may want to look in any backups that you have made to try to restore the map file you created for your setup.

I did not back up.
The truth is that whenever I tried to make the plugin it crashed. I had no idea why. But it was something that didn't get in the way.
I'll do it the hard way. No problem.

I now entered the xpadder plugin and tried to activate the automatic backup option.  however an error happens is the gameex program asks if I want to end the program or continue.  that is, the automatic backup option is not available to me.  And that has always been the case.  Is this a common error for you too ???

I do not use either Xpadder nor the plugin. So I do not.
