bpjacobsen
I tried removing 3 old databases I no longer use for vp but even with them not enabled in pbx settings, I get an error when I open the game manager. I just want vpx to load and no other databases. How do I make it so I can do this without error?
scutters
What is the error? Can you attach your pinballx.ini file and a copy of your pinballx\databases folder as a zip file. Ta.
Mike_da_Spike
In the settings.exe empty the entries. Or remove them from pinballx.ini
Tom Speirs
If you physically delete the core supported systems, you may get an error. The correct process is to disable them. Why cant you just disable them? I am not sure why you think physically deleting the folders would be supported? Anyhoo, it is not right now. I do get where your coming from though in that visual pinball still shows up in the game manager even though it is disabled. I will fix that for the next release.
bpjacobsen
OK, so this is interesting. I removed the editable enries in the settings for each system leaving only the vpx system. this removed all but the visual pinball system. Even after deleting the visual pinball section out of the ini, it still loads that database. attached is the error if I remove he visual pinball DB folder along with the ini. guessing game mgr doesn't look at the ini. But why would removing the settings entries for my other systems remove them from game mgr but not the main vp one? Must be hard coded? I just don't want anything other than vpx loading when I open game mgr. Well, and future pinball since I'm going to try that out too. bpjacobsen
NVM, I just renamed the vpx tables DB to visual pinball and removed the old one. updated the media folder to visual pinball. so I'm good now and can just see my tables as I want now. Just didn't think of this until recently. thanks
