Hi Guys,

Pretty new to this, i am building my first virtual pinball cab and mostly using Pinball fx3. I bought a 4k 40 inch tv an have a hd 32 monitor as a backglass (no third screen for dmd). When i configure the cabmode on fx3 at 4k, the backglass disapears. If i run it on hd (1920x1080) everything works just fine. Do any of you know what i am doing wrong?

1st thing I noticed is that you posted your thread in the GameEx Evolution Enhancements subforum. Fortunately, a kind soul found your thread and moved it where it belongs. B)

2nd, and most important when asking for assistance, please attach copies of your pinballx.ini and log.txt files (no copy and paste please) for us to review settings and error information.

You mean backglasses dissapear when running pinball FX3 ?

Did you place backglasses in the steam folder where pxp files are or are you relying on the backglass from pinball x frontend ? Normally you have to place backglasses inside that steam folder for pinball fx3 and pinball fx3 itselve will display them when running the game. But since you mention it works on full hd resolution i'm guessing you already did that. Can you also post a screenshot of your cabinet setup from pinball fx3 when configured for pinball fx3 and if you have your playfield monitor in landscape or portrait mode (like do you let pinball fx3 rotate your screen ?).

Also if you have the problem inside pinball fx3 i would also mention it on the steam discussions as it might not be pinball x frontend related (unless you rely on backglasses shown by pinball x frontend and did not place backglasses in the steam folder)

Thanks for the insight! I found the problem! In 4k resolution you have to adjust the position of the backglass in 4k space (3840X2160) so i just positioned my 2nd screen in 3840 pixels instead of 1920. it was always there but hidden behind my main screen because of the positioning.
