[RESOLVED] Fusion won't play 32x or Sega CD games inside Gameex

Hello everyone, this is my first time posting in the Forum I've been using emulators for a little while now but I am new to Gameex.

Here's the problem I'm having I have the Fusion emulator installed and it plays Sega CD and Sega 32x ROMs when I launch it directly but when I try to launch it from within Gameex all I get is the Sega CD boot screen, any ideas what could be wrong?

Hi jd, welcome to the GameEx forums.

Please attach your GameEx ini and log (following the event you describe).

This will allow members to see your config and any possible issues that may be occurring.

My apologies for the late reply I've been pulling double shifts at my job.

So anyway now that you mention it I did not know that gameex had a config file that could be edited, I took a look at it and found the problem on the command line there were some quotations that were missing. After typing those in 32x games and Sega CD games are running with no problem

Thanks for your help:)

GameEx.ini

In general, you should never need to do any manual editing of the gameex.ini file. The Setup Wizard gives you access to everything that you need to set up your emulators with a GUI that is soooooo much easier to use.

We ask that the gameex.ini and log.txt file be included when troubleshooting because they are an easy way for us to get the info we need to see your setup.

Glad you figured it out though. When an emulator does not work at all, an improperly formatted command line is a pretty common cause.

Hopefully you will have good luck with the rest of your setup..and if not, we are here to help.    :)
