hey, i've made a shortcut to chankast-launch for each of my games after configuring chankast-launch to my drive letter, and notifying that i am using alcohol. inside the target box of the created .lnk game file, i've typed something like this

C:\Dreamcast\chankast-launch.exe -screen 1280x1024 -fullscreen -cpu 108 -showstats -axcmd "C:\Program Files\Alcohol Soft\Alcohol 120\axcmd.exe" 0 "C:\Dremacst\Games\Power Stone.mdf"

the game ex front end i am using is all set and configured, and upon launching in debug mode, it says echo is ON, PAUSE press any key, then after that is a warning sound from windows, and it returns me to the front end. I'm sure i've typed the wrong thing somewhere, or just confused the command text a bit, if someone can guide me through this one, it'd be highly appreciated.

Just checking, did you do a a cut-and-paste on the command line above? The final directory entry is mis-spelled!

ok, i got rid of alcohol, got daemon 4.0.3 and my shortcut target box is as follows

C:\Dreamcast\chankast_launch.exe -delay 10 -screen 1280x1024 -fullscreen -cpu 108 -showstats -daemon "C:\Program Files\Daemon Tools\daemon.exe" 0 "C:\Dreamcast\Games\Power Stone.mds"

it mounts the image, and opens chankast, but not running the game, nor in fullscreen.

i've changed your command to what i think might work:

C:\Dreamcast\chankast_launch.exe -exit -drive g -delay 10 -fullscreen -screen 1280x1024 -cpu 108 -showstats -daemon "C:\Program Files\Daemon Tools\daemon.exe" 0 "C:\Dreamcast\Games\Power Stone.mds"

You need to change the blue letter to suit the drive letter you are mounting to (0) in this case

damn, i was feeling good about that. what happens now, is the same thing, only 'sometimes' windows opens up the contents of my virtual drive "F:" device 0, in other words, as if you opened power stone in windows, all those files pop up in a F: window.

well, it runs if i mount the .mds and click start, and i've tried that config above with zer-mvc2.cdi and it still won't work
