pinballx plugins not working

I have had the plugins for pinballx working before specifically the dof one.  I upgraded my OS to 64 bit and now I cant get them to work.  I installed DOF R2 then 3 and neither one would let me register it so I could use the plugin on pinballx.  I also tried ledblinky plugin and it didn't work.  my dof is working fine in the tables, the lights and other gizmos work in ledblinky when I test them in the plugin configuration, it just doesn't work in pinballx.  I go to plugin manager and select it , then nothing.  is there something I am missing
