G'day Guys / Tom,

My apologies for asking about a subject which Im sure is quite simple, but I'm really struggling to work out the process for utilising customised (or in other words - "my own" artwork by jukebox for the album art.

I ??? think as of GameEx 6.01 (May 7th) this was possible by ?? adding a folder.jpg and / or a album.jpg file but for the life of me have no idea how??

Im aware that seemingly Jukebox uses Program Files\GameEx\MEDIA\ALBUMS to store album artwork which it auto downloads from ? amazon.

I was hoping if anyone has a spare moment they might be able to just confirm you can use customised artwork and provide some simple steps for how to do.

Cheers

Hi Stuart and welcome.

Here's what I do:

1. Let GameEx auto-download an image. Like you say, it uses GameEx\MEDIA\ALBUMS.

2. If the image is wrong or too low-res, google a higher res pic, download it, and use it to replace the existing image using the same filename.

3. If GameEx can't find an image (e.g. an obscure album), google a pic, download it and copy to the albums directory and rename it in the same format as the other entries.

Hi Stuart,

it's very simple. You do/download your artwork-file rename it to "folder.jpg" and put it in the same folder where your mp3 reside. I think GameEx first looks in this folders and if it finds a pic it is taken. Unfortunately GameEx downloads other artwork from amazon anyway (if it can be found there).
