Thanks a lot for this hint, this might be of future help. I solved the problem as I obviously activated a filter in the setup wizard causing the "loss" of my favorites. After I deactivated the filter my favorites were back in town :-) Thanks again for your help.
Hi *, got a strange problem with my favorites. I added a couple of MAME games to the favorite list and all of a sudden they disappeared from this list. My first reation was to add them again but the only option I am offered is to remove them from the list (which I can't as they don't show up). Looks like a database is screwed up. Any help around? Where does Gameex save the favorites? I looked through the folders but couldn'f find anything. Any help appreciated. Cheers nullus
Not very much information to help you.... Which version do you have installed? You have read this?: "There has been a lot of fixes and optimisations and the entire project has been upgraded to .net framework 2.0. Because of .net 2.0, auto update will not work until you upgrade manually to this version or future versions. You obviously need .net 2.0 installed but the setup will automatically download it for you."
What version of mame are you using? Are you able to run the ROMs from within mame directly (without using gameex as the frontend)? Looks to me like a mame-settings error...
Ever seen THIS excellent extension for the Firefox? OK, it uses the IE engine within Firefox, but you don't even have to leave Firefox for those crappy "IE optimized" pages. I never had any issues with my Firefox, for me it's the one and only!
Hi Michael, your control application for Winamp is an interesting approach but in my eyes it's a must that the user is able to do do a free keyboard mapping with this application. Mouse control in an arcade cab ist not what we really want as everthing is controlled by a CP
I'm not an expert at all and maybe I'm telling bullshit but what I would try is to rename the *.vob to *.mpg or maybe to *.avi... Give it a try, you've nothing to loose...
Ahhh, thanks to you guys! Now there comes some light to me... For some VERY strange reason I thought that GameEx can only handle this type of doodle-doodle-midi-crap-kar-files, but with your help I found out that mp3+cdg works great with GameEx!!! I made a backup of my cdg-collection and tested it with GameEx....great!!!
