I know that Adultery has been working on a web site to provide a guide, but its not complete ATM. This is a feature that I would love to see as part of an installation package where some of the basic emulators (NES, SNES, Genesis, SEGA, Atari) can be automatically installed and all the configuration setting set correctly as an option. I'm sure there will have to be some licensing agreements worked out.

I have been using is the following thread:

Look through it for an emulator that you have installed, and match those settings in Configuration.

However, most of it comes down to doing research and knowing the exact Command Line setting to use by testing it at a Command Prompt.

Needless to say, its for the birds.

I've been workin my ass off on it actually! If you want some help, I'd be glad to help you with setup questions while the site is being built. I'm pretty much in the know as far as emulators go. Just let me know.

I'm currently working on an installer for MAME emulators. It'll include MAME32FX, ZiNc & the Sega Model 2 emulator but that's it for now. I'd like to add other emulators to it (now that I think about it) & I was already planning on adding a guide as well. The guide I was planning on is probably nothing as detailed as what Adultery is working on but I was planning on making one with the installer.

I'd also like to add GameEx to it as well but Tom's installer is pretty good, perhaps I'll just add his installer to my own. We'll see.

Like in a self-extracting installer type format? That would be great! A simple walk-thru readme with that and people would be set up in no time!

It's a self extracter but not like a zip self extractor, like an actual installer program. I'm probably going to do the guide in html format but I haven't started on that yet. So far, all I have is the files set up, ready to be added to the installer. The installer itself can be made within an hour or so, no biggie. I'll post a beta as soon as I can, I have my hands tied up on a few projects of my own, not to mention my work schedule.

Gonna need help putting guides up for mame and adding emulators, i can get roms so i can upload those and the emulators.
