GameEx asks if I want to Update every time I start it up.

After not using my MAME cab for a couple months I fired it up a month or so ago and it asked if it could update, which I allowed, but every time I have started it up since then it asks AGAIN if it can update.  I've allowed it a few times just to see if it fixed the problem on its own, but so far no luck.  Any suggestions?

Try downloading the latest installer, and installing over the top of your current installation.  This is how incremental updates are applied BTW, so you should have no issues.  It goes without say that backups are never a bad idea however.

I had the same issue recently, so I figured I would chime in just case there might be even more people who ran into it.

I installed GameEx over the existing install and am now waiting to see if it auto-triggers correctly the next time an update is released.
