So going to need to at at least 9 more row for a total of 18, may as well add 2 more to be safefor a total of 20 in a 4x20 grid in portrait mode on a 1080x10290 display.

I didn't see anything going up to 20 in the Game List Manager,  so you are probably right. Can't get what I can't see.

Will have to look at it again tomorrow evening.

OK, at work this morning but had a few minutes to update the Pinball Arcade.xml (attached). This should now be correct for the X across - Y down grid. I will need to check GML as it may be possible that it did not get updated properly hence the obscured additional rows. Or I am totally losing it.

@Tom Speirs - At home finally and see in v2.21 that you have increased the number of rows to 20, I was still on announced 2.20 and suspected that you updated to a new version but was not where I could download and confirm.

Anyways, I am running into the same issue as Drybonz with Pinball Arcade enabled. PinballX will not load - simply starts then crash. Here is my pinballx.ini and log.txt files.

Please provide copies of your pinballx.ini, log.txt, and Pinball Arcade.xml files.  Thanks!

Looks like its just bad XML. I believe it would always do this. In the xml above there is <gridposition>2x3gridposition>. There end tag is not opened properly.

Will check it out and try it again later today. Thanks!

I tried and had the same problem with Pinballx crashing ..  I thought I looked over that whole xml for errors and still missed one. Will give this another try, thanks.

After looking over the xml I found the 2 errors. Made sure my media matched the xml and tested out AFM and it worked! nice work TOM :) I did notice if you try and load a table you have locked ,, it will just stay at a black screen, I tried with The Addams Family which I don't own. So I guess now since they are all on sale I can change that. Anyway .. so far so good. I took a quick video to show the loading of the table ..and exiting back to PinballX.

HEre is my updated XML... appears the entry for Cactus Canyon was the issue. Will test it again later today with Pinball Arcade reenabled.

The bad entry in the grid position was the problem with PinballX crashing on start. I am still having a the problem with the programmed inputs not going to the A-Z listing of the tables and selecting the table, but selecting exit program instead. I am uncertain if it is a timing issue or what.I have toyed with the timings in the Pinball Arcade setup and this one is kicking my ass.

Here is my log file and my PinballX.ini Draco .. maybe there is something in there that can help you

This one doesn't crash me, but selecting a game sends me to the PA start screen instead of the table.

Does anyone have an XML with just the game title intead of "Pinball Arcade - game title"?

The default settings just sit on the loading screen.  I was using the NoEx cam mod in the past, but I must have screwed the settings all up at some point.

I am surprised it even launches. Normally it needs to be launched from steam to work and you are pointing directly to the exe. You are also passing [tablefile] which is irrevelent for Pinball Arcade. In addition you are missing the process to monitor.

If you are not using the new version with the new interface then set the setting in the setup wizard to say your using an old version.

I'm using the latest version... I want to set it up with the cam mod.  I would at least like to get the basic settings to work.  If I revert to the default settings, like you suggested, it hangs on the loading screen.

OK, must be a Chrome hiccup of some sort. Anyways, changed the settings as noted and still the same issue:

DryBonz, ah okay. I will test with the mod and let you know.

Draco, looks off. WaitFor shouldn't be zero and I think WaitForSelect is a redundant setting. Just set the defaults in the setup wizard and maybe extend the wait for time.

Cheers.

Tom.
