Rules cards not displaying in-game

It seems rules/instruction cards are not displaying correctly (for me) when in-game.

I can bring them up normally in the PinballX menu, but if I want to view them while playing a game - by going to the exit menu and selecting "Intructions" - nothing is displayed.

I do hear the sound that normally plays when displaying the instruction card, though. So maybe they're actually displayed behind the backglass or something...

I'm using swf instruction cards.

Are you using the original ones created by Carny_Priest? If so, please read this thread. You may need to update what you have with the new ones.

Ehm no, just the ones that come with Media Pack downloads from VPForums etc

And jpg/png images saved as swf files

You may want to respond to Carny_Priest in that thread I linked to see if he will be providing them elsewhere.

If the cards are displaying correctly from the PinballX menu then it is not an issue with the cards themselves. 

I did not know that you could view them while in game.

I would love to be able to view them in game.  Never has seemed to work for me.

Ideally, this brilliant suggestion is the solution, IMO... but there doesn't seem to have been much interest in adding this feature.

I would post your request in the recommended thread for Enhancements and Features Requests. Tom takes what he can and makes them real. Keep in mind that not all requests can or will be done and urgent bug fixes take a higher priority to additional functionality.

Ok, I just assumed it wasn't a feature request because the menu item is already there. Just not working (for me and one other user at least)
