PinballX startup video

Hi all,

 

Is there any nice PinballX startup video available ?

 

Would be really nice to have a nice video when PinballX is starting.

Even so for the 'loading' screen : is there an alternative for the standard 'loading' screen/video ?

You might find something here you like, but a google search should also lead you to some alternatives at other websites.

Go to YouTube AND Vimeo and search for "5 second project". There are quite a few short pinball related generic videos. I have a bunch saved on my cab and PinballX plays a random one on launch.

 

some day I'll figure out how to manipulate them to take up the whole screen (zoom) but for now it does the job

What is the size of video to get full screen view in cabinet mode?

1920x1080 is rotated and small and 1080x1920 is stretched horizontally but not vertically.

Ok it seems to be not only rotated but also resized by PinballX

It's mostly used for cabinets so why it's not working like Playfield videos?

Maybe i missing something but it's a lot more to do, i need to start project as 1920x1080, then fit my rotated video and compile as 1080x1920, then PinballX is rotating and resizing again. It's pointless.

 

Any chance you can implement this in next update? Just make it simple like playfield videos.
