Marqee image difficulties

I am having difficulty getting a select few of my marquee images to appear in Gameex, the vast majority (85%) work fine and they are all in the same folder with the same path.  Examples are Asteroids, Centipede, and Galaga '88.  The marquee image names match the rom names.  Examples rom:  asteroid.zip   image:asteroid.png  ; rom:centiped.zip   image:  centiped.png  ; rom: galaga88.zip  image: galaga88.png.  Any ideas or suggestions on what I am missing here? This shoudl be pretty simple but I have been banging my head on this for the last few hours and can't seem to get it solved.  I even tried removing the folder and reinstalling it and it has the same result.  Thanks,

I moved the thread per your request. You might need to tell us more about your ROM set for MAME. Also, having a copy of your gameex.ini and log.txt files will tell us more about your setup just in case there is a setting that needs to be changed.
