  1. I am almost done setting up my cabinet for family use and play, however, I can't seem to get the "all games list" to work. I would like to have just one selection come up on load for "All Games List" instead of separate lists for MAME and Daphne. I have it set to "yes" under the setup wizard and have it on my screen from the menu editor. When I load Gameex, my main screen shows MAME, Daphne, and All Games List. MAME and Daphne have games under them when I select them but the "All Games list" does not. Any thoughts? Thanks,
  2. I am having difficulty getting a select few of my marquee images to appear in Gameex, the vast majority (85%) work fine and they are all in the same folder with the same path. Examples are Asteroids, Centipede, and Galaga '88. The marquee image names match the rom names. Examples rom: asteroid.zip image:asteroid.png ; rom:centiped.zip image: centiped.png ; rom: galaga88.zip image: galaga88.png. Any ideas or suggestions on what I am missing here? This shoudl be pretty simple but I have been banging my head on this for the last few hours and can't seem to get it solved. I even tried removing the folder and reinstalling it and it has the same result. Thanks, Please ignore, accidentally posted here, moved to General Forum for support. Thanks
  3. Draco, thanks for responding. I figured it out, In my menu editor I typed in "Daphne" instead of selecting it from the list so Gameex wasn't actually trying to run Daphne when I was clicking on it. I got it all working now, thanks again.
  4. Ok that's not working so I will manually submit them : Use game map: No Daphne path: C:\arcade\daphne Daphne EXE: daphne.exe Daphne options: vldp -fullscreen-x 640 -y 480 -nohwaccel Daphne snap/video path: C:\Arcade\Daphne\images Daphne snap background path: C:\Arcade\Daphne\images Daphne flyer image path: C:\Arcade\Daphne\images Daphne cabinet image path: C:\Arcade\Daphne\images Daphne title image path: C:\Arcade\Daphne\images Daphne Marquee image path: C:\Arcade\Daphne\images Daphne panel image path: C:\Arcade\Daphne\images Additional Options Launch before : (I have nothing here) Launch After: (I have nothing here) Gamextedner image path: (I have nothing here) Daphne Games Select Daphne game: 1: Astron Belt Enabled: Yes Rom: astron Name: Astron belt Options: vldp -framefile C:\arcade\Daphne\framefile\Lair.txt Thanks again for any help
  5. Trying the screen shot again, sorry
  6. I am returning to GameEx after a few years away since I had to sell my old arcade machine when I moved and am in the processing of building a new one. My dilemma is it has changed so much in the last 5 years, its a great product, but I am having difficulty getting Daphne configured properly. I got MAME and Sega Genesis to work fine just struggling with Daphne. When I run Daphne in Daphne Loader all games run just fine. In GameEx it tells me "no items found". Here is my command line from Daphne Loader: daphne.exe lair vldp -framefile C:\arcade\Daphne\framefile\Lair.txt -blank_searches -min_seek_delay 1000 -seek_frames_per_ms 20 -homedir C:\Arcade\Daphne -fastboot -bank 0 11111001 -bank 1 00100111 -noserversend -sound_buffer 4096 -fullscreen -x 640 -y 480 Here is a screen shot of my Daphne settings in GameEx setup wizard. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  7. Ok, so I'm assuming there is no way to set up some sort of control.ini file with all of the games and there controls listed like the Mame setup then? And thanks for the really qucik response that was awesome.
  8. I'm hoping someone out there can help me. I'm using the resident control panel viewer in Gamex and it works great for me in Mame. However, I am having problems getting it to work with Emulator 1, Fusion for Sega Genesis games. I have set the control panel image path and that comes up when I load Sega games, but no labels on it. Do I add the Sega games to the control.ini file used for Mame games? I have edited and created new entry for Mame games so I'm comfortable adding new ones. If that is what I need to do, I believe I am encountering a Sega ROM naming issue, how would I name the ROM? "Cool Spot" or Cool Spot.gen" or do i need ot do the whole path. I have treid each of these but to no avail, thanks for any advice.
