I remember some time ago I was able to play the game showing on the attract mode by pressing the "accept" button or the "insert coin" button. I'm trying to do this on latest GameEx version and when one of these buttons are pressed the attract mode exits to GameEx and the game won't load... Is this working on GameEx? tthurman Posted April 6, 2016 Share Posted April 6, 2016 Yep The arrow keys work, but I can't fire, jump, etc. Here are the default controller buttons for many games: 5 - Insert Coin 1 - Start Arrows - Move Ctrl - Action Button 1 Alt - Action Button 2 Space - Action Button 3 Mouse - Analog Control (needed for some games) P - Pause ESC - Quit MAME F2 - Service Mode Tab - MAME Options Menu Note: There are many games with much more complex controls. Evilforces Posted April 6, 2016 Author Share Posted April 6, 2016 Hi Adultery and Tthurman!!! Thanks for your help!! I tried the solution of pressing the 5 key and actually works. I think my problem is my gamepad is mapped to another key for insert coins, and this is the problem for that attract mode exits to GameEx when I press it... Now I know how to play the game with keyboard. The only thing I would like to solve is to remove the artwork showing on attract mode at the bottom of the screen. The artwork is beautiful when you are in attract mode, but I think it's annoying when you are playing the game... Anyway, now I have the solution to the problem. Adultery Posted April 7, 2016 Share Posted April 7, 2016 Well I don't use that artwork because Game Info displays all that on the 2nd monitor, and I have an Xpadder profile set up that launches specifically for Attract Mode using the Xpadder plugin.
