Ok, it seems you have to do this everytime you make a GameEx Update. At least when updating your gamelist after GameEx Update.

For now, after GameEx updates, i do the following:

delete gameex\DATA\[Arcade] MAME.mdb

delete gameex\DATA\gamelist.txt

copy new versions of hystorie.dat,mameinfo.dat, catver.ini and series.ini to gameex\DATA\

run GameEx and update gamelist

restart GameEx

After that the game descriptions are ok.

The before mentioned games Gun Master and Lasso do not have any game description, but that's how it is in hystorie.dat.

 

I have another problem with gamelist with game entries of former MESS stuff.

Will make a seperate thread about this.
