Gameex Emumovies Autoupdate

in gameex i have set to autoupdate the library from emumovies. it does work, but i have a question: when does gameex update the library (snaps, videos,....)? does it autoupdate after i quit gameex or must gameex be opened for automatic downloads from emumovies?

It updates while GameEx is active, as during this time it logs you into emu-movies, likewise you logout of emu-movies when you exit GameEx.

With GameEx Online it should also run in the background I believe but you wont notice the updates until you restart GameEx.

i asked this, because i was wondering that i have configured mame and then quit gameex. later i started gameex and all videos, snaps... where there...
