nullPointer
It also might be helpful to go into the GameEX/DATA directory and verify the existence / contents of EMU_2.map (or whatever number corresponds to your SNES emulator at this point - in the most recent log it appears to be _6). When or if you find that file, I'd be curious as to whether 1) it exists and 2) what the contents look like. You don't necessarily need to post it or anything; I'm mainly interested whether it shows the contents of your ROM directory as it should.

tthurman
Unless you kept an older version installer, then the current one is all that is available. I haven't followed this entire thread FYI, because I don't run consoles currently, but as for uninstall/reinstall, you really can just install the current version right over the top of your present install if you feel something is botched from the install.

Dal1980
Eh! It works - didn't change a thing! all I done was reran the setup and it opened GameEx at the end of the install process. I thought I would have needed to setup the config files for emulators again but noticed that Nintentdo SNES was there... Opened it and hey presto - everything loaded in!WTF!?!
nullPointer
All's well that ends well I suppose! Guess I should have suggested an outright reinstall much earlier in the thread! Happy gaming man!
