I'm using an amd athlon x2 245 processor with 2.90 ghz 64 bit pc, an nvidia geforce 9300 GE with 8 gigs of ram.. So why does my power stone 2 run like crap? Does anyone have the best settings to run this like its supposed to?

It isn't 100% perfect. Read that you have to select 50hz at game startup (not 60hz). Are you using 50hz? Also saw some issues running this game with Extra Geometry. So, while listed as 100% game in some lists, it doesn't appear that it truly is 100%.

I can attest that it runs perfectly on my shitty by comparison hp pavilion s5000.

I do, however, have to run the games in native resolution. Still looks great. Hope that helped.

Edit- my apologies, I do not have PS2, but ran into the same issue with the first power stone.

For some games, the hz does pop up. But I didn't see it for power stone 2 when I started the game. Can I chg it in the options of the emu?

I don't run that emu so not sure if it is in the emu or actual ingame setting when the game starts.

OK That Worked!!!! Power Stone 2's Running Fantastic Now!! But One Problem has arose since the nulldc.txt....now when i start a DC game from the gameex menu, the emulator pops up, then I have to use my mouse and go to system/start. and then it runs. How do I get it to load up w/o me having to do that everytime?

That's an easy fix, I'm not sure what it is off the top of my head, but I will post my command line text when I get back to my machine.

Glad it's running!

stick this in your command line field:

Command=nullDC_Win32_Release-NoTrace.exe -config nullDC:Emulator.Autostart=1 -config ImageReader:LoadDefaultImage=1 -config ImageReader:DefaultImage="[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]"

That command line makes the menu go dark like its starting then it returns rt back to gx

My old command line at least made the emulator load up. Any takers???

Are you using the same null dc as listed in the beginning of my command? If not you need to replace nulldc_win32_release-no trace.exe with whatever version yours is
