Well I know for a fact it's not disabling plugins when it sleeps because my exit commands don't process anymore when that's enabled. Which in turn jacks up my initialization calls when it wakes up. FWIW.

The exit app commands don't get processed. So like Game Tagger for example didn't send the offline tag because that function didn't get called.

I clean up my 'trash' in that function.

Ive tried with your ini cnells but I can't seem to duplicate the issue. Is there any more you can provide that might help?

theres nothing else I can think of...........I play the arcade everyday but it hasn't updated my gamertag since aug 4 like its says below. and after watching a video it returns back to the menu

There's a setting in Setup Wizard that keeps GameEx running in the background after it closes. See if it's enabled.

Just to touch back on the Gamer Tag issue, quoting Adultery, if this is enabled,, disable it.

I may not be following all the latest responses here 100%, but my gamer tag started not updating either with changes and additions Tom has been adding to GameEx, and this was Adultery's advice to me, which solved that problem immediately.

Try changing the setting to not keep it logged in under GameEx Online and see if it fixes the issue. I know that'll fix Game Tagger

Note that I do not keep my rig running GameEx 24 X 7, and so this is likely the ideal setting for my application anyway.

Well for now then I would just disable Background mode for GameEx Online.It will only put things back to where they were before the last few releases.

What I'm posting could be only worked on a previous release. I've been testing some things on my setup, and now it seems perhaps my gamer tag isn't updating as I thought. I can't leave well enough alone at times it seems, but Batman is not the last game I played.

Hang in there dude, I for one am convinced that in the end you'll be more pleased with the results from a more modern OS, regardless if it's 7, 8 or 10.

The update I did yesterday for the black screen should also have fixed the "App_Exit" plugin issue Adultery mentioned. If something else is not working maybe Adultery can let me know?

@tthurman: I know, silly question but the plugin is enabled right? Your log says you haven't played anything since August 3rd.
