[RESOLVED] Help with Online & Gamecard feature

I seem to have trouble with this new "online" setup. Before I could see myself and my gamecard in the Gameex Live page, but now with the new websites; when I logon on GameEx Online my profile is empty, it says "no data available for this user - no data yet and no games found" and no option for gamecard or something else.. Can someone help me out with this? Do I also have to change something in GameEx setup itself? Yesterday I updated it to the latest version.. is all my gamehistory lost?

Hi Kris,

Yes you will need to enable GameEx Online in the settings. Go to Setup Wizard> Custom> GameEx Online. Change Enabled to Yes and enter your login details (same as forum).

Then you'll need to boot GameEx at least once. I would leave it running for a few minutes to give it time to upload your data to the GameEx Online server. Then go to GameEx Online and login. All your data should be present

Just also wanted to point out you need a license/subscription eligible for free upgrade to Evolution.

The old game cards do still work but the GameEx live page has been retired.

Just curious did this change/update reset everyone's game history? I noticed mine is blank now, but I haven't had a chance to play in quite a while.

Secondly, is there an option for people to clear/hide their game history if they choose? That a concern/question I had before about GameEx Live.

GameEx Online is a whole new beast, built from scratch and is the way forward, completely separate from the way the old GameEx Live used to work. So i would assume (and i'm not really an authority on this) that the old GameEx Live will be obsolete soon, if not already.

Your game history will be updated when your database uploads from your local.

That is because you don't have an eligible license for free upgrade to Evolution. GameEx Online is a GameEx Evolution feature.

Is there a current upgrade to evolution when it is ready I can purchase now, or do I have to wait..

You can go ahead and purchase a new lifetime, or annual membership, and be elilgible for the upgrade for Evolution upon launch. See the Store for details.

I don't know when you purchased your current GameEx lifetime subsciption, but only purchases made in last quarter 2013 and 2014 qualify for the free upgrade. See here for more details.

Thanks tthurman guess I will have to get a new lifetime subscription as mine is like 4 yrs old.
