Jamma cards

Ordered a jamma card recently with 600 plus games on it. Mainly just to tinker with. Has any one used one to build their cab? Wasn't sure on the front end or how customizable they are. It looks like once I get the harness wired you simply change the card to get different games.

I'll be interesting to see what you think about it after you've played with it a bit.

I looked at them more than once, and always came away with the same feeling. Looks like something that would be great for a "classics" build it and forget it setup, but I always understood it that they are what they are, internal front end so to speak etc., on a very old release of MAME, one before lots of things started advancing. 0.36 , perhaps 0.106. I'm probably way off, but that's how I always took what I was reading.
