Pinball Competition - Yes/No?

Darren here from the competition forum. On behalf of the Hi-Score Team i would like to ask your opinion - would you like to see a Pinball based competition?

If so, what would the format be, what tables... anything you have in mind? We'd love to hear any ideas you have! Literally anything you have in mind just lay it down - we want to hear it.

Is this something that is viable? I've no experience with VPM multiplayer - what would need to be done to make such a thing happen?

I have been trying to get a couple people to tackle it but they are just to busy lately. A multi player version of mame is around so I would think it would be fairly easy to add to vpinmame.

Since cabs can go online and you can "steal" wheels and such from other people's cabs why can't pinballX access the notepad type highscore file?
