[RESOLVED] Gameex crashes after launching games

In MameUI32, all of my games work fine. When launching games through Gameex, they randomly lock up and crash the system. The music for the game will start playing, but it will be stuck on an unresponsive black screen. At that point I have to reboot the system. I thought it was a bug with Hide os, and after disabling it, it happened less frequently, but it still happens eventually every time.

I am not seeing any errors present in the log.txt file. Was this immediately after one of the games crashed? If not, can you provide one from right after you restart but before launching GameEx so that the log.txt file is not overwritten? Thanks!

I figured out what it was. For some reason using high quality MP4 video snaps would randomly crash Gameex. When I switched to low quality the problem was resolved.

What codecs do you have installed? I have run high quality .mp4 without any issues using the Shark007 codecs.

I think something is goofy in the newer sharks with mp4. Have not had much time to dig into it though.
